​A summary audit (from the sample of 1,500 daaras of Touba) shows that problems of first priority for daaras are concentrated on the following three levels:

• Problems with premises,
• Problems with student feeding,
• Poor health conditions of students.

Indeed, by unanimous admission of the actors of the daaras questioned, any initiative aimed at assisting them should primarily try to bring (not short-term unsustainable responses) but long-term structural solutions in these 3 areas.
